In this unpacking job three family members moved in together. Boxes were everywhere, in every room in the house and the garage was crammed full of boxes.
The first task was to rezone the garage for easy access to the boxes. The boxes were moved to the driveway and sorted by room and then relocated back to the garage, grouping them by room (Oops, I forgot to take pictures of the sorted boxes in the driveway).
The first room to unpack was the kitchen. Due to the lack of space in the kitchen and the fact that the kitchen was going to be remodeled in the very near future, lots of kitchen items were repacked and stored in the garage until the remodeling was complete. We unpacked the dining room boxes next. We used the family room as the staging area to unpack the boxes. I had tables set up in the family room to put the items on as we unpacked them and from there we put the items in the appropriate rooms where they belonged.
Over 30 boxes of household items were donated to charities.
